T.A.P began in 1969, founded by my grandfather, who proudly named the business after his initials. What started as a small plumbing service built on trust, hard work, and genuine care for our local community quickly became a reliable name in homes across the area. Over the years, he expanded into gas and heating work, always maintaining his commitment to quality craftsmanship and dependable service.
 

The business was later passed to my father, who carried on that tradition with the same dedication and pride. Under his leadership, T.A.P grew even further into Popham Plumbing & Heating, becoming known not just for technical expertise but for being a name families could rely on.
 

Now, in 2025, I’m proud to be the third generation to take up the torch—working side by side with my father—as we move the business into a new era under the name Newergy Heating.
 

Our focus today is not just on plumbing and heating, but on delivering energy-efficient, renewable heating solutions tailored to modern homes and a changing world.
